The bench "Les pieds dans l'eau" (emblematic of lying directly on the water) is the meeting place of a seaweed fisherman and a landscape photographer. The bench is inspired by the landscape of the Breton coast. It offers a harmonious synthesis of technology and nature.
Its shape expresses a rocky character, the superimposed layers are reminiscent of contour lines on a map. One does not directly notice the hollow for sitting. If one sits down in it, the sitters can feel as if they have grown together with the bench.
The slabs of concrete are easy to manufacture, also robust, wind and weather resistant. The design element of the glass plate, through its reflection, expresses the association with the water that periodically strongly recedes.
